Shop Policies


I appreciate each and every one of my customers! I thank you for shopping small and for shopping handmade. Each piece of jewelry contains a little bit of my spirit and my story. It is my honor that you carry interest in aquiring such meaningful adornments that will be heirlooms for you to pass on generation after generation. 

If you should receive your item in unsatisfactory condition or damaged - you MUST let me know within 3 days of receiving the piece. I will do my best to remedy the situation in a timely manner accordingly. Please understand that I am a ONE WOMAN show, I design, create, photograph, market, pack and ship each and every handmade creation myself with my own two hands. 

A refund will not be granted for your miscommunication, failure to check your ring size accurately before giving it to me,or for buyers remorse. 

Custom Orders/Made-to-Order Items:

Custom orders CANNOT BE REFUNDED. There is no possible way to refund TIME spent DESIGNING and CREATING a custom piece, and therefore refunds on customs cannot be granted, and will NOT be accepted. 

Made to order items in the shop are left unfinished so that the buyer may make the piece custom to their desired ring size or desired piece of jewelry, and cannot be refunded once finished to your specifications as a CUSTOM piece.

Payment Plans:

Payments MUST be made promptly and ON TIME. All payment plans are subject to cancellation if not paid. 

No refund will be granted on payments if you decide you do not want the piece any longer before paying off or decide to not make all payments in agreed time frame.

Paypal Orders:

Any refunded order placed through Paypal EVEN IF the order was fraudulent - will incur a restocking fee. Paypal is NO LONGER refunding the service fees they deduct from each business transaction - and therefor a restocking fee will be deducted from your original transaction price. (Usually 3%-5%) 

Sale Items/Discounted Pieces:

No refunds will be granted on sale items, or anything that may have been given a promotion or discounted price. 


All orders for ready to ship items will process and ship within 1-7 business days. Once the item is in the hands of the shipper, it is no longer CBGEMS responsibility. Most items are shipped priority shipping with insurance but some international clients are given the option for cheaper shipping prices. International shipments are not CBGEMS responsibility once shipped, and once another country has the package in their facitlities for processing. 

Care Instruction:
Each and every single piece is hand made from start to finish using my own two hands. That being said, no two pieces are exactly alike, made to order pieces may stil vary in slight detail from piece to piece, stones from the very same location and even same rock formation may still vary slightly in color and appearance.

Patina can vary from piece to piece - and depending on your locations - the tarnish of each piece will vary with each customers home location weather and humidity levels varying. 

I have high standards for integrity and honesty and will keep my customers informed on any and all information regarding variances - I know that you trust me to make the best heirloom jewelry with the finest and most treasured tools, resources, and know-how possible!

Please do not swim, or take any of your pieces into the water - this includes hand washing. Water can change the color of natural untreated turquoise - it softens the stone as water is Turquoise original natural state! 

Water also presents issues for maintaining your patina. 

Use a silver cleaning cloth to polish your pieces when they tarnish. Tarnish is a natural occuring phenomena in which the metal undergoes a chemical reaction to oxygen. Not to worry this is not permanent - a polish fixes it right up. Store jewelry in a jewelry box, air tight or out of open air as much as possible.

CBGEMS is not responsible for the upkeep of your jewelry - we must care for our jewels to make them last through time.
